Respect For All Week

Respect For All Week, February 11-15, is a week that was created by the NYC Department of Education to honor diversity and respect for others within a school community. We urge you and your family to please participate and review the daily activities with your student(s). Thank you for your support with this!

Monday 2/11: CHARTER CHECK IN DAY
Revisit your classroom charter. Think about how it promotes Respect for All.

Tuesday 2/12:START WITH HELLO DAY
Open your door to kindness! Greet everyone you see with a “hello”
If someone is feeling down, this simple word can change their day!

Wednesday 2/13: UNIQUELY ME DAY!
Wear a shirt that represents what you love…favorite band, sports team, color or activity!
Be prepared to share your passions with your class!

Thursday 2/14: CELEBRATE KINDNESS DAY
Celebrate kindness by wearing RED for Valentine’s Day!
Bring in a Valentine’s Day wish for all of your classmates!

Friday 2/15: NATIONAL NO ONE EATS ALONE DAY
Make it your job to sit with someone new at lunch today and play with someone new at recess!
